Welcome to Villa Fortuna in Mostar, in the ownership of the Bijavica family. According to the preserved historical documents, this family has lived here since the 16th century.
Pleasurable and quiet family pansion Villa Fortuna is situated in the center of the town, only 150 m away from the Old bridge at UNESCO's world heritage zone.
The vision of the Bijavica family is to preserve the spirit of Herzegovina. In order to keep the tradition and the way of life and to promote ecology, a stone house is built where you can taste the specialities of Herzegovina and enjoy the wines of Žilavka and Blatina. The murmur of water from the garden fountain is completed by the scents of the Mediterranean – pomegranates, figs, olive trees and vine are all planted here. The spirit of the Herzegovina past has been preserved also in the mini museum within the Villa with the exhibits from the 16th century.
The same owners, Bijavica family, possess the travel agency Fortuna Tours founded in 1989 with three branch offices in the town of Mostar. It provides a full tourist service: selling air and boat tickets, professional guides, excursions and transfers by luxurious vehicles from the airport of Split, Dubrovnik, Sarajevo, etc. All the cars are of a high class and not older than one year: Mercedes Viano 7 + 1 seats, Mercedes C class, AMG, Mercedes A class.
